| this thing rocks!! i just got it installed and i'm actually glad that the bose headunit died on me, haha. the one selling point of this unit was the aux plug in the front of the faceplate to connect an external mp3 player. its not an alpine but it does the job so well. i have a fairly modest system consisting of a 4 channel amp powering two 10" pioneer/infiniti subs along with 6.5" kenwood speakers. i hooked up a separate tweeter and positioned it where the stock bose center speaker is located, and it makes all the difference in the world. i really can't believe the system sounds so good considering the amount of money i spent. 2 pac never sounded sweeter =) for any of you contemplating a switch out of the bose, its seriously the best benjamin i've spent on the z!
